Michael Linder has represented Kane County Board District 13 since December 2022. District 13 is comprised of more than 22,000 residents and almost 14,000 registered voters in most of the westside of Saint Charles, some western precincts in Geneva and a very small number of voters in Campton Township.  A map of the district appears elsewhere on this site. His current term expires at the end of November, 2026. That sounds like a long time from now, but Mail and Early Voting for the March 17, 2026 Primary Election started on February 5!

At the County level, there are contested races for Sheriff, County Clerk, and Treasurer on the Democratic side.  At the County Board Level There are contests in 4 of the odd-numbered districts, and three candidates have filed for the one year spot to replace Board Member Dale Berman who passed away after an extended illness.  That election to fill the two year term will take place whether the post is temporarily filled in the meantime or not

I would like to thank the voluinteers who passed petitions to help get me onto the Primary Election ballot, and I’m thankful for the friends who are helping me with the campaign this winter.  Campaign signs are out and if you could help by hosting one in your front yard, it would be a big help.  Just drop an email to YardSigns@votelinder.com and a volunteer will come and place it for all to see!  Don’t worry about frozen ground.  We have that handled!

If you would like to take a leadership role in Michael’s campaign you may send a contact form on this site, or reach out to Michael directly.  A volunteer coordinator, or even a couple of friends who would share that job are especially desirable,
