Thank you 4000+ Voters and Many Friends and Supporters!

The election for Kane County Board Member for the 13th District was very close. After all the early votes, Election Day votes and all the mail ballots received up until Election Day were counted, I led the incumbent by only 34 votes. However, mail ballots that were sent to voters who requested them but were not yet received are to be counted until November 22, provided they bear a postmark no later than November 8. As of November 10, mail ballots increased my lead to 81 votes. There are still about 300 mail ballots unreturned in District 13, though as the days go forward, I would expect fewer to come in with the timely postmark.
I’m confident that I will be the official winner, but we do need to wait for the mailed ballot deadline.
Again, thank you to those who voted for me, contributed to my campaign expenses, made calls or knocked on doors or displayed a yard sign!
