I am proud to have represented the residents of Kane County District 13 since December 2022 and have filed petitions to stand for reelection on November 3, 2026.  It may seems early to campaign for an election so distant in time, but candidates for the offices of Sheriff, County Clerk and Treasurer  and all odd numbered Kane County Board Districts face a primary election March 17, and early voting for that primary election begins February 5.  For this who have elected mail-in ballots for all elections, the ballots will be mailed that same day.

I do have an opposing candidate in the primary, and the winner of that contest will be the Democratic Party candidate on the November General Election ballot.  There is also a two-person contest for the Republican Party candidate in District 13 so there will be a contest in November as well as for the Primary Election.

In addition to the odd numbered County Board District seats, Kane County will elect a County Clerk, Treasurer and Sheriff in this election cycle.  Other posts on the ballot include U.S. Senator (to replace retiring Senator Dick Durbin), all U.S. Congressional Districts, Governor, and all the Illinois statutory officers. The primary ballot also has a place to elect party precinct committee persons. I am the single candidate to be Democratic Precinct Committee Person in St. Charles Township Precinct 15.

I humbly request your vote in this March 17 Primary Election.  But please vote, and vote in every contest on the ballot.
